She went on to attain a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Health & Lifestyles and soon after came back to Malta to start her Career in Personal Training & Nutrition. She originally used CrossFit to aid her basketball training, but quickly became fascinated with its methods. In 2014, she took her CrossFit Level 1 and opened her very own Functional Training Facility, The Box in 2015 and recently opened her new box, Tripod.
As a coach and a person, Christina fully believes in fitness, she enjoys passing on knowledge and learning as much as possible about anything Health and Fitness related. Her passion lies in helping people realise their full potential.
Pam has been involved in the fitness industry for over 12 years. Starting off with dance and swimming from a young age and then moving into gym based fitness classes and workouts and then finally found Crossfit. Pam has worked in many gyms both locally and abroad, doing everything from gym instructing, instructing hiit style classes and last but not least personal training.
Pam eventually chose to coach Crossfit solely as well as personal training. She has a background in sports nutrition and holds a Level 2 Crossfit Coaching certificate.
Pam is currently in her final year of reading for a Masters in Sports Science.
When walking into the gym you will probably find her listening to loud music and sneaking in a boogie in between sets.
I’m Amy 😊, a Chemistry teacher by day, and CrossFit coach by night. I have been doing CrossFit for 10 years now and coaching for 6 years.
Originally, I used to run long distance and somehow found my way into OCR. An injury pushed me to seek another sport and I came across CrossFit – walked into my first class and haven’t looked back since. I love Olympic lifting, specifically the snatch, as well as any upside-down gymnastics, and my all-time favourite workout is DT. I love all animals, rubbish pop music and trash TV shows in my downtime, as well as going for long hikes with my dog, Nina.
I have been coaching CrossFit since 2021. I discovered CrossFit in 2018 and immediately fell in love with its methodology. Having a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education I get to use what I studied everyday, both in CrossFit coaching, Sports lecturing, as well as for Personal Training. After three years of training and competing in CrossFit, I decided to add to my teaching role and obtain my CrossFit Level 1 certificate. Helping others improve their own personal fitness and allowing members a better quality of life is the reason why I love coaching. My favourite movements are mostly gymnastics based as well as weightlifting.
I am a people-oriented person, I am driven by results and clients achieving their goals. This is what drove me to get my CrossFit L1 coaching certificate and to start coaching at Tripod. I have a passion for outdoors, travelling, scouting, fitness and Crossfit. I enjoy camping, long hikes and water-based activities.
I have a deep passion for fitness. I rediscovered this passion in 2016 when I gave birth to my second child and began attending fitness classes that allowed me to bring my son along. This was a great way for me to stay active and healthy while also being able to prioritize my responsibilities as a parent. The convenience of being able to incorporate fitness into my busy life as a parent was especially motivating for me. I continued on my fitness journey by taking up obstacle course training and participating in OCR races locally and abroad. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, I discovered CrossFit and have been an active member of Tripod Fitness ever since. My dedication to staying active and fit has led me to try a variety of different fitness activities and challenges, and I have found a home in the CrossFit community at Tripod Fitness. As a parent of two children, I understand the importance of setting a good example and instilling healthy habits in the next generation. In 2021, I attended a CrossFit Kids Level 1 Certification in order to share the benefits of CrossFit that I have experienced in my own life, particularly with children. I am passionate about helping others, especially kids, lead healthy and active lives through the power of CrossFit whilst creating a positive and supportive environment for kids to learn and grow in their fitness journey. As a CrossFit kids coach, I am dedicated to creating a positive and supportive environment for kids to learn and grow in their fitness journey. I am constantly seeking out new ways to make workouts fun and engaging for kids, while still challenging them to push themselves and improve. I am passionate about helping others, especially kids, lead healthy and active lives through the power of CrossFit.
Hello everyone! I am a nurse by profession and have been working as a product specialist in medical devices for the past 3 years. I have always been passionate about sports since I was a kid. At the age of 13, I started Volleyball and spent 17 years playing and competing with the national team. I also trained a bit of OCR for a brief period.
In June 2020, I started a nutrition and fitness challenge with Pam and Christina. Tripod had just opened at that time, I had decided to start CrossFit and I never looked back 😊. I love the challenges it brought along and that there is always something to learn. My favorite movements are the HSPUs, power cleans and bar muscle ups. I have done the CrossFit Level 1 and CrossFit gymnastics course last summer and started coaching last January. I am always willing to learn more about CrossFit and fitness in general. I love the community and it makes me so happy to help other people improve by encouraging them, and making sure that they reach their goals.
My fitness journey started at a young age playing football with a local football club and also making it to the youth national team - a sport which I still love to this day.
I’ve discovered CrossFit a few years ago and I instantly got hooked to it, and it drove me to keep on training and improving everyday. With all its complex and diverse movements, CrossFit automatically drives you to push yourself in order to accomplish that specific skill, be it a gymnastic movement or an olympic lift. Whilst I'm still learning to this day, and have so much more to accomplish, my experience in this sport has already taught me so much, which is why I decided to get into coaching with the aim to assist other people becoming the best versions of themselves. Apart from training almost everyday, I enjoy spending my free time at the beach or out for a couple of drinks with friends!

Her favourite movement in Crossfit is mainly anythingrelated to Gymnastics and in fact, in August 2023 she also completed theCrossfit Gymnastics speciality course to expand her knowledge on the subject.Emma finds being a physiotherapist and a Crossfit trainer fulfilling, as in heropinion, there is no greater pleasure and satisfaction than seeing clients/athletesgain their fitness, improve and achieve their goals. I’m Kim 😊, Pilot by day and Crossfit coach in my free time.
I’ve been doing Crossfit for around 6 years but really fell in love with it when I joined Tripod and felt that community vibe that everyone talks about. I began coaching earlier last year and I love to see the progress of our athletes especially starting from beginners and seeing them fall in love with the sport as much as I do.
Romi has been training for twenty-four years. She trained athletics for 2 years, kickboxing for 5 years where she entered two matches winning both. Trained for years at the gym and now has been practicing Crossfit for more than 5 years. In 2014 she obtained a certificate in Advanced Course in Exercise and Fitness from the University of Malta. From this achievement she never looked back and continued her studies at the University of Birmingham where she obtained an M. Sc (Hons)in Exercise and Sports Sciences. Her studies consisted in nutrition and metabolism, cardiovascular and respiratory physiology, psychology in sports and neuromuscular adaptation to training. Romi is currently in her third year in studying for a PhD in Sports Nutrition at the University of Chester. In 2017 she attended a workshop in Austria, about nutrition for fat loss and hypertrophy. She has given lectures at the University of Malta on sports nutrition, is currently a supervisor and examiner for students following their Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Sports and had successful results in helping athletes lose weight and improve their performance. She has been invited for 4 years in a row on a TV program to talk about the latest research in exercise and nutrition. Her aim was always to show people that nothing is impossible to achieve if you just believe. Fat loss should always be gradually, to preserve muscle, feel energetic and boost your life. The word ‘diet’ does not exist in her vocabulary, but instead she uses the word ‘plan’, a plan to help you change your lifestyle and eat healthy without taking away anything that keeps you from enjoying your life.
